From perusal of report, it appears that as per a secret information, police personnel were on Nakabandi. They tried to stop vehicle of the applicant. But, driver of vehicle did not stop. Vehicle was chased. Vehicle was driven in a rash and negligent manner and dashed to a tree. Driver of vehicle ran away from the spot. Complainant and his companion reached to spot where vehicle was stopped. They broke open glass of window of vehicle and found liquor worth Rs.9.00 lacs.

As per say filed by Investigating Officer before learned Additional Sessions Judge at Warora, the applicant is owner of vehicle. As per report, driver of vehicle ran away from the spot where car dashed to a tree. The applicant did not explain as to how his vehicle was there and who was .....2/-

The applicant is involved in business of selling liquor where it is prohibited. Offence is antisocial. Hence, the applicant is not entitled for grant of any protection. 5.

In view of the above, the criminal application is rejected and disposed of accordingly.
