The challenge raised in the present writ petition is to the order dated 22.12.2017 refusing to grant approval to the appointment of the petitioner for failure to clear the Teacher Eligibility Test. 2.
The learned Assistant Government Pleader on instructions submits that on 03.07.2023 the Deputy Director of Education has informed the Education Officer (Secondary) that the approval to the appointment of the petitioner as Shikshan Sevak for the initial period of three years and thereafter as Assistant Teacher has been granted.

The aforesaid communication is taken on record and marked 'A' for identification.

In view of aforesaid, the purpose for filing the writ petition has been served. Needless to state that the respondents shall take all consequential steps in the matter to enable the petitioners to receive their regular monthly salary. 5.
The writ petition is disposed of in aforesaid terms. No costs. Pending civil applications also stand disposed of.
