The challenge to the impugned order invalidating the claim of belonging to the Halba Scheduled Tribe is given up. 2.

That being so, the challenge to that effect stands rejected. As far as the protection of service is concerned, it shall be open for the petitioner to approach the employer, in view of the Government Policy reflected in Government Resolution dated 14/12/2022 and such other decisions of the State Government of absorbing the services on supernumerary post. If such request is made, the same be considered by the employer, in accordance with law.

The writ petition stands disposed of. No order as to costs.
