The learned Counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the petition in order to avail alternate remedy as provided under Section 60 of the Maharashtra Police Act, with a request that if appeal is filed, the same may kindly be expedited.

Permission, as sought for, is granted. The criminal writ petition is disposed of as withdrawn with liberty as prayed for. 03.
