APRIL 7, 2025 The petitioner is aggrieved by order dated 1/4/2025 passed by respondent no.1 - Additional Commissioner, Nagpur, refusing to grant stay to the order dated 25/2/2025 passed by respondent no.2 - Collector, Gondia, disqualifying the petitioner for non-submission of caste validity certificate.

2] The learned A.G.P. was requested to take instructions from respondent no.1 as to time that he will take to decide the appeal. The learned A.G.P., on instructions, submits that the appeal would be decided within ten days.

3] Since the appeal on merit will be decided in ten days, the purpose will be served by directing the parties to co-operate in the proceedings pending before respondent no.1 for early disposal of appeal, which will enable the petitioner to take appropriate recourse on merit, if the finding is rendered against him. Order accordingly.

21-WP-1934-2025 4] With the above observations, the petition is disposed of. No costs.

5] In case the election for the Member of Gram Panchayat is declared, respondent no.1 shall decide the appeal before the said date.

6] The petitioner shall appear before respondent no.1 day after tomorrow, i.e., on 9/4/2025, at 11:00 am.
