2.
On the basis of report dated 18.5.2021 lodged by Mr. Ravindra Satokar, a police constable attached with Police Station, Wadi, Nagpur, the applicant is implicated in Crime 186/2021, for offences punishable under sections 189, 294, 332, 353, 341, 506 of Indian Penal Code and is in custody since 18.5.2021.
3.
The investigation is complete and the chargesheet is filed.
4.
The allegation is that the applicant confronted
the complainant - constable and questioned why the Activa moped belonging to Mr. Ashish Band was seized. It is alleged that the applicant assaulted the complainant - constable with a liquor bottle, which caused injuries to left shoulder. It is further alleged that the applicant assaulted the police constable with fists and issued threats. 5.
The injury certificate refers to abrasion and tenderness. It is not even argued that the injuries were grievous.
6.
Opposing the bail application, Ms. T.H. Udeshi, the learned APP points out that the applicant has adverse antecedents. She is right in the submission since there are two live prosecutions pending. However, both the prosecutions relate to the year 2014 and 2015 and the offences do not appear to be grave enough to reject the bail. 7.
Considering that an early trial in the current scenario may not be possible, the applicant has made out a case for grant of bail.
8.
The applicant be released on bail in connection with Crime 186/2021, registered with Police Station, Wadi, Nagpur, for offences punishable under sections 189, 294, 332, 353, 341, 506 of Indian Penal Code, on executing PR bond of Rs. 16,000/- (Rupees Sixteen Thousand) with one solvent surety of the like amount.
