CORAM

: B.R. GAVAI & P.N. DESHMUKH, JJ.

DATE : 3 rd MARCH, 2016.

The present public interest litigation has been filed for directions directing the respondents to allot D.P. Reservation No.56, City Survey No.29 at Kamptee for the purpose of construction of slaughter house or allot alternate place for the said purpose.

Mrs. Bharti Dangre, learned Government Pleader states that in the development plan for Nagpur Metropolitan, under which the area of Kamptee Municipal Council also comes, there is a reservation at Item No.204 for slaughter house.

pil.65.13 2/2 We, therefore, find that when there is a reservation for slaughter house for a larger area, the purpose of the petition would be served inasmuch as the members of the petitionerUnion can get their animals to the said slaughter house. We, therefore, dispose of the said petition. However, the State Government to expeditiously construct the said slaughter house on the plot reserved for the said purpose. In view of disposal of the matter finally, the civil application for intervention becomes infructuous and the same is disposed of.
