DATED : 07/10/2020 1] Heard learned advocate for the applicant and learned APP for the non-applicant no. 1 - State. 2] By this application under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, the applicant - accused has prayed that the FIR registered against her with the nonapplicant no. 1 - Police Station Officer for the offence punishable under Section 306 of the Indian Penal Code be quashed.

3] The FIR is registered on 21/07/2020. Learned APP has rightly submitted that this is not a fit case for exercising jurisdiction under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure at this stage as the investigation is still in progress. It is not in dispute that the applicant is protected by the order passed by the learned Sessions Judge directing ANSARI

apl447.2020 release of the applicant in the event of her arrest in connection with the crime.

4] Considering the facts of the case, we are not inclined to entertain the application at this stage. 5] The criminal application is dismissed with liberty to the applicant to approach appropriate forum after filing of the charge-sheet, if so advised.
