CORAM : A.B. CHAUDHARI, J.
DATE :
JULY 9, 2015.
Heard learned counsel for the applicant. Perused the record. I quote paragraphs 4, 6, 7 and 8 from the reply filed by the State, which are as under: "4.
It is submitted that during the course of investigation the investigating officer has recorded the statements of Postal Assistants who were working int eh said post office which support the prosecution case. It is pertinent to note here that in the said Tiroda Post Office, there is only staff of 4 persons i.e. 1 Post Master and 3 Postal Assistants and entire charge in respect of day to day affair of post office was with the present applicant. The present applicant himself received the said amount on the pretext that he is knowing the recruitment deposit holder personally.

.....
6.
It is submitted that the Postal Department has also given report alleging that the present
aba210.15 petitioner has misappropriated the Government money amounting to Rs.1.00 Crore.
7.
The investigation in the present crime is in progress. The custodial interrogation of the present applicant is very much necessary to find out the total misappropriated amount and for the purpose of recovery of amount without custodial interrogation it is very difficult to complete the present investigation.
8.
It is also pertinent to note that present applicant has also deposited amount of Rs.7,00,000/- (Seven Lakh only) with post office department, thus admitted his guilt."
Mrs. Joshi, learned A.P.P. Submits that another report about misappropriation of about Rs. One Crore is being reported and the police machinery is looking into that also.
That being so, I make the following order.
ORDER
