Rule. Rule made returnable forthwith and heard the learned counsel for the parties.

The only direction sought in the writ petition is for expeditious consideration of the petitioner's tribe claim. The petitioner is a student and it is his case that the validity certificates have been issued to his father and cousin sister. Since the petitioner desires to prosecute further studies, it is submitted that his tribe claim be adjudicated expeditiously. The learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondent on instructions submits that the proceedings for verification of the tribe claim of the petitioner have been fixed before the Scrutiny Committee on 13.07.2022 and within a period of 15 days from that date, the proceedings would be adjudicated.

Accepting the aforesaid statement, the Scrutiny Committee is directed to complete the verification proceedings by the end of July, 2022. The petitioner shall appear before the Scrutiny Committee on the scheduled date which is 13.07.2022.
