29.07.2024 The petitioner has filed the contempt petition against the respondent No.1 alleging therein that he has willfully and deliberately breached the judgment and order dated 20.08.2022, passed by this Court in Writ Petition No.3999/2017, by not releasing the salary of the petitioner for the period from 16.05.2011 to 31.03.2013. The petitioner further made a prayer to direct the respondent No.1 to purge the contempt by releasing the salary.

Learned A.G.P. submits that the salary has been released. She has tendered across the bar, letter dated 26.07.2024 issued by the Pay and Provident Fund Unit, Nagpur to the Education Officer (Secondary), Zilla Parishad, Nagpur, stating therein that the bill for arrears of salary amount of Rs.11,53,819/- has been presented and an amount of Rs.11,47,219/-, after deducting the professional tax, has been deposited in the account of the petitioner.
