The grievance made in this contempt petition is with regard to non-compliance of the interim order passed in Writ Petition No.558/2018 on 09.03.2020. By that order the petitioner was to be paid monthly salary (75%) from March 2020 and onwards.

Pursuant to the order dated 09.01.2021 the respondent no. 4 is present in the Court today. The learned Assistant Government Pleader on instructions submits that the salary for the period from March 2020 to November 2020 has been released in favour of the petitioner. The learned counsel for the petitioner does not dispute this position. He however submits that the salary of December 2020 and onwards be released along with the salary of other employees.

It is informed on behalf of the respondent no.4 that the salary of the petitioner is remitted off-line while the

919.CP119.20.odt 2 salary of other employees has paid by on-line process. The respondent no.4 however undertakes that the petitioner' s salary from December 2020 shall be released shortly and future salary shall be paid along with other employees of the institution.

In view thereof, there is no purpose in keeping the present proceedings pending. The contempt petition is accordingly disposed of.
