Perused report. Complainant is wife of the present applicant. The applicant threw thinner on her person and set her on fire. She sustained injuries on her face, back, and chest etc.. She shouted. Neighbourers admitted her in Government Hospital at Akola. 3.

Learned counsel for the applicant submits that false report is lodged by the complainant.

It is pertinent to note that the complainant married with the present applicant in the year 2001. Since last 18 years, she is residing with the applicant. The applicant is absconding from day of the incident.

Looking to the offence against the present applicant which is serious in nature, the applicant is not entitled for grant of any protection.

6.

In view of the above, the criminal application is rejected and disposed of accordingly.
