The petitioners have challenged the communication issued by the respondent no. 3 - Police Inspector on 06/04/2019 calling upon the petitioners to surrender the weapons as stated in the communication. In response to the notice issued by this Court, the respondent no. 3 has filed affidavit stating that after examining the matter, the impugned communication is withdrawn. In view of the submission made on behalf of the respondent no. 3, the learned advocate for the petitioners states that the grievance of the petitioners does not survive and seeks permission to withdraw the writ petition.
