By this letter dated 10.06.2025, the District Judge - 4 and Additional Sessions Judge, Nagpur is seeking extension of time to dispose of Sessions Trial No. 644/2022.

The letter shows that on 18.05.2023, the charge was framed vide Exh.17 and thereafter in all 7 witnesses are examined by the prosecution. Yet, the prosecution has not concluded the trial. The learned District Judge - 4 has also assigned the reasons that there are other matters assigned to this Court and, therefore, it is not disposed of. Though the reasons assigned by the learned District Judge - 4 is not satisfactory, but considering that there is substantial progress in the trial, period of six months is extended.

Learned District Judge - 4 and Additional Sessions Judge, Nagpur shall dispose of the trial within six months and shall not seek further extension.
