Today, Mr. Rao, learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing for the respondent nos. 1 to 4, has placed on record a communication issued by the Deputy Director of Education, Nagpur Division, Nagpur to the Education Officer (Secondary), Zilla Parishad, Gondia, dated 17.11.2025, which discloses that the Deputy Director of Education has opined that the Old Pension Scheme will apply to the petitioner and the benefits of the same shall be extended to the petitioner. 2.

The said communication is taken on record and marked as 'Article A' for identification.

In that view of the matter, we direct the respondent no.3Education Officer to act accordingly and complete the process of extending benefits of Old Pension Scheme to the petitioner within a period of eight weeks from today and thereafter the benefits shall be released expeditiously, in any case not beyond the period of six weeks from the completion of such process.

With these directions, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
