The applicant is apprehending arrest in Crime 337/2019 registered with Police Station Nagpuri Gate, Amravati for offences punishable under sections 326, 452, 504, 506 read with section 34 of the Indian Penal Code and section 4 and 25 of the Indian Arms Act.

The allegation is that during the course of an altercation with the sister of the injured, the applicant used a knife and dealt a blow on the head of injured Jamir. 3.

Perusal of the injury certificate reveals that the injuries are not serious. That apart, a fair statement is made on instructions that the investigation is complete and the charge-sheet is filed and the alleged weapon of offence is recovered from the applicant when he attended the police station in compliance with the condition of interim pre-arrest protection.

The interim protection granted vide order dated 14.08.2020 is made absolute.
