Learned counsel for the petitioner fairly states that now the elections are over and as far as prayer clauses (i), (ii) and (iv) are concerned, the same do not survive. 3.

However, he further submits that prayer clause (iii) survives, whereby the petitioner is seeking direction to respondent No. 1 to start the process of cancellation of the licenses of the respondent Nos. 3 to 14 as per Rule 6(4) of the Maharashtra Agriculture Product Marketing (Development and Regulation) Rules, 1967 as they are not actually trading. 4.

It is, therefore, submitted that the petitioner be permitted to withdraw the present petition and to approach to

954.wp.1994.2025.odt the concerned authority by moving an application under the appropriate provision for such relief. Permission is granted. 5.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of, as withdrawn, with liberty as prayed for.
