Heard learned Counsel for the Petitioners.

It is submitted by the learned Counsel for the Petitioners that claim of the Petitioner Nos.1 and 3 is pending since 08/11/2023 and claim of the Petitioner No.2 is pending since 09/11/2023 for verification of tribe claim. The Caste Scrutiny Committee returned the claim of the Petitioner No.4 as he is in private service having no reservation. The only relief, the Petitioners is seeking for direction to the Respondent No.1 Caste Scrutiny Committee to decide the claim of the Petitioner Nos.1 to 3 within stipulated period.

We direct the Respondent No.1 - Caste Scrutiny Committee, Nagpur to decide the claim of the Petitioner Nos.1 to 3 within a period of six months from today.

So far as contention of the Petitioner No.4 is that the Caste Scrutiny Committee should not refused to verify the caste claim of the Petitioner No.4 on the ground that he is in private service. This issue be kept open. The Caste Scrutiny Committee may consider it on its own merits. The Writ Petition stands disposed of with these directions.
