Today, Writ Petition No.86/2000 is listed for final hearing.

Nobody for petitioner. Mr A.V. Palshikar, learned A.G.P. appears for respondents. He has invited our attention to this Civil Application. He submits that the question whether Writ Petition No.2691/2000 needs to be heard with present Writ Petition can be looked into after records of that Writ Petition are made available. In this situation, we direct the Registry to place Writ Petition No.86/2000 as also Writ Petition No. 2691/2000 for hearing together, as per roster arrangement. The question of consolidation, if any, shall be looked into at that juncture.

Civil Application is, thus, partly allowed and disposed of.
