By this petition, the petitioner has sought a direction to the respondents to absorb the petitioner on the post of Assistant Project Officer. It is stated that during the pendency of the petition, in pursuance of an advertisement issued by the respondents, the petitioner had participated in the process of selection and appointment of Assistant Project Officer and the cause for filing the writ petition would not survive. It is stated that the petitioner may raise a challenge subsequently, in case, there is any irregularity in the selection process or the candidature of the petitioner is illegally rejected.

In view of the aforesaid, the writ petition is disposed of with no order as to costs.
