DATE : 02.05.2016 By this writ petition, the petitioner challenges the selection process initiated by the respondents in pursuance of an advertisement issued by the Power Grid Corporation of India Limited for appointment of staff in Chhattisgarh (Western Region Transmission System-I). According to the petitioner, her candidature for appointment on the post of Assistant (Finance) is wrongly rejected.

If the petitioner had applied in pursuance of an advertisement issued by the Power Grid Corporation of India Limited for appointment to several posts including the post of Assistant (Finance) in Power Grid Chhattisgarh (Western Region Transmission System-I), the Nagpur Bench of the Bombay High Court would not have the jurisdiction to entertain the writ petition. If the appointment is to be made in the Power Grid, Chhattisgarh

In view of the aforesaid, we decline to entertain the writ petition. The writ petition stands disposed of with no order as to costs. The points raised in the petition are kept open. JUDGE JUDGE Wadkar
