The petitioners are claiming to be lease holders and as such have claimed compensation at par with the other similarly placed persons. 3.

Such relief cannot be gone into, particularly the respondents are disputing the claim of the petitioners. In such an eventuality, the remedy to the petitioners is to claim enhance compensation before the competent forum.

Reserving the aforesaid liberty in favour of the petitioners, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.

We make it clear that the time spent in prosecuting the present petition before this Court shall be considered, in case the issue of limitation crops up.
