By this petition, the petitioner seeks a direction to the State Government to provide grant-in-aid facility to the 5th to 7th Standard classes conducted in the school run by the petitionerSociety. Shri Rao, the learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondent nos.1 to 3, states on the basis of the affidavit-in-reply that the petitioner could submit the proposal for seeking grant-in-aid for the 5th to 7th Standards in accordance with the norms and guidelines stated in the Government Resolutions dated 15.11.2011 and 16.07.2013. It is stated that the respondent no.3-Education Officer (Secondary) could send the proposal to the Director of Education, Pune for further action.
Shri Khubalkar, the learned counsel for the petitioner, states that a fresh proposal showing compliance of the norms and guidelines stated in the Government Resolutions, dated 15.11.2011 and 16.07.2013, would be submitted to the Education Officer (Secondary), within a period of four weeks.
WP2795-15 In view of the statements recorded hereinabove, we dispose of the writ petition with liberty to the petitioner-Society to submit a fresh proposal within a period of one month to the Education Officer (Secondary) and if the proposal is so submitted, we direct the Education Officer (Secondary) to consider and forward the same to the Director of Education, Pune, within a period of four weeks from the receipt of the same. The State Government should take appropriate action on the proposal in accordance with law, if the same is remitted by the Director of Education, Pune to the State Government.
Order accordingly. No costs.
