There is a delay of 24 days in preferring the appeal against conviction.

The contention is that immediately after judgment the applicant was taken into custody. The applicant is poor and due to financial constraints he could not approach to the Court in time.

For the reasons mentioned in the application, delay of 24 days is condoned. Registry to register the appeal. The application stands disposed of.
