a) The petitioner accepts the order impugned directing payment of monthly maintenance of Rs.2,500/- each to respondent 1 and the minor son.

b) Respondent 1-wife states that instead of Rs.25,000/- awarded by the appellate Court, she is ready to accept, and accepts Rs.10,000/- as compensation. c) By mutual consent, the petition is disposed of by directing that the amount payable towards compensation shall be reduced from Rs.25,000/- to Rs.10,000/-, the rest of the order impugned is confirmed. 2.

The petition is disposed of accordingly.
