Perused the reply of the prosecution and the case diary.

The contraband liquor has been seized.

Admittedly, the modified vehicle does not belong to this applicant, but it belongs to co-accused Anwar. It is stated that the liquor was brought as per the version of the driver of the vehicle on the say of this applicant. I think the driver, by not saying anything incriminating against the owner of the vehicle, which has been specially modified for transportation of liquor by the owner, is trying to mislead the police in the investigation. Therefore, I find that there is a doubt about this applicant having got any connection whatever with the crime registered in the present

aba.261.18 2/2 case. If this is so, the pendency of one crime previously registered against him would not come in the way of granting this application.

The application is allowed and the interim anticipatory bail granted to the applicant by this Court on 12th April, 2018 is hereby confirmed on the same conditions.

The application is disposed of in the above terms.
