Hearing was conducted through Video Conferencing and the learned Counsel agreed that the audio and visual quality were proper.
02] Heard learned Advocate Shri Shinde for the applicant and learned APP Shri M.J. Khan for the non-applicant on the point of confirmation of ad-interim protection granted by this Court on 8th July, 2021. Learned APP showed me the papers of investigation. On going through them, I am inclined to confirm the ad-interim protection.
03] The victim married with one Praveen Rathod on 29th May, 2020. The present applicant is the mother of said Praveen Rathod. The culprit is one Fulsingh Rathod, who is the father of Praveen Rathod. There is an allegation that the victim was asked to give sexual favour within one month from the date of the marriage. There is also an allegation that she was being ravished by the arrested accused Fulsingh Rathod. The allegation against the present applicant is that when told by the victim instead of reprimanding the culprit Fulsingh, the applicant, in fact, insisted that the victim should

2/2 consider the said Fulsingh and treat him like her husband only. There is further threat to kill her husband.
04] The victim left the matrimonial home on 11th February, 2021 when her mother had come. The latest incident took place on 8th February, 2021. After going through the papers, I am inclined to confirm the ad-interim protection for two reasons. One is the present applicant is a women and second is the allegation levelled against her. For carrying out the investigation in respect of those allegations, the interrogation is not required. Hence, the following order:-

a) The order dated 8th July, 2021 is confirmed. b)The applicant to give attendance to Digras Police Station and cooperate the police as and when required until filing of charge-sheet.
