CORAM: B.R.GAVAI & PRASANNA B. VARALE, JJ DATE : 19.8.2015 The petitioner has approached this Court being aggrieved the rejection of his application for furlough. 2.

The application of the petitioner for furlough is rejected on the ground that the cousin brother of the petitioner was not ready to stand as surety and further that he is unable to control the petitioner in the event if the petitioner is released on furlough.

The learned counsel for the petitioner categorically states that the petitioner is willing to provide another surety.

It is not the case of the respondents that on earlier occasions the petitioner was released on furlough and he has not reported on the schedule date or was required to be arrested by the police for bringing him to the prison. 5.

In that view of the matter, the petition is allowed. The petitioner is directed to be released on furlough for the period of two weeks on the condition that the petitioner provides competent surety.
