Heard Shri K. Nalamwar, learned counsel for the petitioner, Shri D.M. Kale, learned A.G.P. for respondent nos. 1 and 4 and Shri V. Sawarkar, learned Counsel for respondent nos.2 and 3.
Caste claim of petitioner is still not verified. This Court has on 06.05.2014, while issuing notice, granted status-quo and, therefore, his employment is protected.
Respondent no.4 has filed reply affidavit pointing out that the vigilance report has been received
Order 1003wp2303.14 by the Committee on 15.11.2006, and then some more documents/data was to be collected.
In said reply dated 10.11.2014, the Committee sought time of three months to complete the procedure and to take decision on caste claim. In this situation, we direct the petitioner to appear before the respondent no.4 Committee on 15.04.2015, and to abide by its further instructions in the matter. The committee shall attempt to complete the verification in accordance with law, within next three months.
Interim order already granted by this Court to continue and shall be subject to said adjudication. Request of petitioner for protection, if any, shall be considered thereafter, if occasion therefor arise.
Writ Petition is, partly allowed and disposed of. No costs.
