The underground sewage project was implemented in respect of Akola Town. However, there is a proposal submitted by Akola Municipal Corporation for extension of this project to other 24 villages included within the Municipal limits of Akola. The said proposal is pending with the State Government.

We, therefore, direct the State Government to take decision on the said proposal within a period of 12 weeks. 3.
