DATE : AUGUST 27, 2020 Hearing was conducted through Video Conferencing and the learned counsel agreed that the audio and visual quality was proper.

The petitioner seeks a direction on the respondent to decide his application for a Scheduled Tribe Caste Certificate.

We have heard the learned Advocates appearing for the parties.

Having regard to the nature of relief claimed in this writ petition, we find no reason to keep the same pending.

The writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the aforesaid Scheduled Tribe Caste Certificate Scrutiny Committee, Amravati to consider the application of the petitioner and to dispose of the same in accordance with law within a period of a month of receipt of a copy of this

4-LDVC-CW-993-20 2/2 order.

Needless to observe, if the claim of the petitioner is spurned, the order must have support of reason. The same shall be communicated to him.

For the purpose of disposal of the petitioner' s application, he may be granted opportunity of hearing on 07/09/2020 by the Committee.

In view thereof no further notice is required to be issued by the Committee to the petitioner.

No costs.
