DATE :- NOVEMBER 21, 2022 The petitioner who was serving as Head Master at Zilla Parishad School that is being run by the respondent no.3 is aggrieved by the fact that he was not promoted in July 2016. Though the petitioner made a representation on 15.06.2020, there has been no progress in the matter. In the meanwhile, the petitioner has superannuated from service. We find that the representation made by the petitioner is to the State Government and not to the Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Nagpur. Since the service record of the petitioner would be available with the respondent no.3, the writ petition is disposed of by permitting the petitioner to make a representation to the respondent no.3 seeking the benefit of promotion from July 2016. If such representation is made within a period of four weeks from today, the same shall be considered by the respondent no.3 on its own merits in accordance with law. Decision taken be communicated to the petitioner.
