Criminal Application (APPP) No.715/2024 has been filed on behalf of the Investigating Officer to file charge-sheet.

In view of the order dated 23.07.2019, the Investigating Officer was directed not to file charge-sheet without seeking leave of the Court. Now, the investigation is complete and, therefore, the Investigating Officer wants to file the charge-sheet. The offence which has been carved out is Section 7 of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988. In view of the nature of the offence, the Investigating Officer is permitted to file the charge-sheet with a special Court within a period of two weeks from today. The copy of the charge-sheet be supplied to the applicant.

Leave is granted to the applicant to amend the application, if advised, in view of filing of the charge-sheet. 4.

Such amendment, if any, be carried out on or before 05.07.2024 and the copy of the same be given to the other side in advance.

The Civil Application stands disposed of.
