Criminal Application No.719 of 2024 has been filed on behalf of the Investigating Officer to file charge-sheet. Vide order dated 16.10.2020, this Court had allowed the Investigating Officer to proceed with the investigation, however, restrained him from filing the charge-sheet, until further orders. He seeks permission to file the charge-sheet.

The offences transpiring as per the copy of the FIR are under Section 3(1(r) and 3(1)(s) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 and Section 506, 323 and 294 of the IPC and therefore, when the investigation is complete, the Investigating Officer is allowed to file the charge-sheet within a period of two weeks from today. Copy of the same be given to the applicant within a period of one week thereafter. After receipt of the copy of the charge-sheet, if nd.thawre
