Heard learned advocate appointed for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents.

We do not wish to go into the merits of the rival contentions. By the impugned order dated 13th January, 2016 furlough has been declined on the ground that the period of six months had not expired after availment of the earlier leave.

By passage of time, that objection may not survive now. Hence, with directions to the respondents to reconsider the request for release on furlough, in accordance with law, within a period of 15 days, we dispose of the petition. The charges of the counsel appointed are fixed at Rs.1,500/-.
