It is seen from the submission filed on behalf of the respondent No.5 that First Information Report No.0167 of 2023 has been lodged against the respondent Nos.3 to 6 by the Block Development Officer, Panchayat Samiti, Lakhandur. The same pertains to the offences under Sections 409, 420, 468 and 471 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code. In addition to this, it is pointed out that the departmental enquiry was to be initiated against the said respondents in view of the notice dated 12-6-2023. 3.

In view of aforesaid, the purpose of filing the writ petition is served. The respondent Nos.1 and 2 to ensure that the aforesaid proceedings are taken to their logical end.

The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
