appearing on behalf of respondent nos.1 and 4 points out that the order dated 09.07.2012 passed by this Court on Civil Application No. 716/2012. This Court has taken note of the fact that the petitioner - Ganesh Bhagwantrao Bhende has expired. Civil Application was therefore, disposed of as infructuous.

Period in excess of three years and 8 months has expired thereafter, but, no steps have been taken to bring on record legal heirs of petitioner.

Challenge is to invalidation of the caste claim by the Scrutiny Committee.

In this situation, we dismiss the Writ Petition for want of prosecution. Rule discharged. No costs.
