By this contempt petition, the petitioner has sought action against the respondents for willful disobedience of the directions in the order dated 17/07/2012 in Writ Petition No.2744 of 2012. It is stated that though the respondents were directed to take the decision expeditiously, the decision was not taken. It appears that during the pendency of the contempt petition, the respondents have taken a decision against the petitioner. It is stated that the delay caused in deciding the matter was not deliberate and was due to the reasons stated in the affidavit. Since the claim of the petitioner stands decided, during the pendency of the contempt petition, we dispose of the contempt petition with no order as to costs.
