This is an application for continuation of interim relief filed on behalf of the appellants, in view of dismissal of this appeal by judgment and order dated 13.04.2018. It is pointed out that an order of status quo was granted in favour of the appellants on 10.01.2018 and that the appellants wish to challenge the aforesaid judgment and order of this Court, till which time the status quo be continued in the interest of justice. A request is made for continuation of interim order for a period of eight weeks.

Heard counsel for the parties.

For the reasons stated in the application, the same is partly allowed. It is directed that the interim order dated 10.01.2018 passed by this Court be continued for a period of three weeks from today and upon expiry of the said period, the interim order shall stand vacated without reference to this Court. It is made clear that no further extension would be granted. JUDGE halwai
