The learned Counsel for the applicant states that pursuant to the conditions imposed by this Court (Coram: V.M. Deshpande, J.) vide order dated 18-8-2020, the applicant has attended the police station and has produced the Tractor, which is seized. 3.

The investigation appears to be virtually complete since the affidavit-in-reply states that the statements of eyewitnesses are recorded. The only reason put forth to oppose the release is that the Tractor is yet to be seized. As noted, after the interim pre-arrest protection, the Tractor is seized.

I am satisfied that the investigation shall not be hampered if the interim protection granted vide order dated 18-8-2020 is made absolute.

The interim protection granted vide order dated 18-8-2020 is made absolute with the only modification that the applicant shall attend the concerned police station, till filing of the charge-sheet, as and when directed by the Investigating Officer.
