NOVEMBER 24, 2025 1) Heard learned counsel for the respective parties. 2) The petitioners are challenging the order dated 16/09/2017, passed by the Tahsildar, Darwha, District Yavatmal in R.M.K.2/L.N.D.-31/2012-13, whereby the application filed by the petitioners came to be rejected.

3) Learned Assistant Government Pleader submits that the petitioners are having alternate and equally efficacious remedy to file an appeal before the Maharashtra Revenue Tribunal under Section 6 of the Maharashtra Restoration of Lands of Scheduled Tribes Act, 1974.

4) The petitioners are at liberty to file an appropriate appeal before the appellate authority within a period of eight weeks from today. Time spent while prosecuting the present petition, shall be taken into consideration by the appellate authority.

6) The parties are directed to appear before learned Tribunal on 15th December, 2025.
