An assurance is given by Mr. Deshpande, learned Deputy Solicitor General of India appearing for respondent nos. 1 to 4 that in case if the petitioner qualifies, the candidature of the petitioners can be considered against the seats which are reserved for the students from urban areas, that too, in accordance with law.

In view of aforesaid statement, which is taken on record, the writ petition is not pressed by the counsel for the petitioners.

The writ petition stands disposed of as not pressed with liberty to the petitioners to approach afresh, in case cause to that effect arises. No costs.
