Ms. Bawankule, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for respondent Nos. 1 to 3, submits that the entitlement of the petitioner for medical reimbursement can be looked into by respondent the Nos. 4 and 5 in accordance with law. She would claim that if the respondent Nos. 4 and 5 think that the petitioner is entitled for such benefits, the bills can be forwarded to the office of respondent Nos. 2 and 3 and a decision on the same would be taken as expeditiously as possible in accordance with the prevailing policy of the Government. 3.

That being so, we dispose of the petition.

We direct the respondent Nos. 4 and 5 to consider the claim of the petitioner for release of medical reimbursement and if so admissible, make appropriate recommendations to that effect to the office of respondent Nos. 2 and 3 within a period of eight weeks from the date of production of this order. Let their recommendations be

If the bills are accordingly recommended, the respondent Nos. 2 and 3 shall take a decision within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of the same and shall communicate to the petitioner the orders passed on such recommendations, if so made by the respondent Nos. 4 and 5 within the said period. In case the respondent Nos. 4 and 5 are of the view that the petitioner is not entitled for such medical reimbursement, they may pass an appropriate order and communicate the same to the petitioner.
