The petitioner seeks directions against Municipal Council to pay the amount of Rs.6,39,472/- towards retiral benefits alongwith arrears of 7th pay commission mentioned in Paragraph 3 and Annexure 3 of the petition. 2.

Learned counsel for the respondent states that the petitioner has been paid retiral benefits as per 6th pay commission. Learned counsel for the respondent states that the retiral benefits, payable to the petitioner in view of difference in scale of 6th pay commission and 7th pay commission, will be calculated and paid to the petitioner within a period of four months. The statement is accepted.
