Civil Application (CAW) No.1349 of 2023 :

This civil application has been preferred by 19 applicants, who came to be elected as Sarpanch of the respective Gram Panchayats. It is stated that the similar work has been allotted to these Gram Panchayats and with a view to espouse the cause of these Gram Panchayats, the applicants seek leave to join them as petitioners in the writ petition.

Considering the reasons mentioned in the civil application, the same is allowed. The cause title of the writ petition be amended accordingly. The necessary court fees shall also be paid by the newly-added petitioners. 3.

The civil application is disposed of.

Pursis dated 27-4-2023 :

In view of the pursis dated 27-4-2023, Shri A.Y. Kapgate, learned counsel, is discharged from representing the respondent Nos.3 and 5.
