In anticipation of arrest in connection with Crime No.396/2021 registered with the nonapplicant Dahihanda Police Station, District Akola for the offence punishable under Sections 380 and 511 of the Indian Penal Code, the applicant has prayed for grant of pre-arrest protection. This Court has granted interim protection to the applicant on 17.07.2021, which continues till date. 3.

It is the prosecution case that during night hours, the applicant, a neighbour, entered

Order 3008aba432.21 into the house of the informant and tried to steal some articles from the cupboard. The allegation is about attempt to commit theft. The incident had occurred during night hours. Nothing is to be seized from the applicant. There are no criminal antecedents also. Hence, considering the nature of allegations, the applicant is entitled to grant of prearrest protection. Hence, the following order. (i) Criminal Application is allowed and disposed of.

(ii) The interim protection granted to the applicant - Shrikant Shrikrushna Kharabe vide order dated 17.07.2021, is made absolute on the same terms and condition, with a modification to continue to attend the police station as directed by this Court till the filing of the charge sheet or 6 months, which ever is earlier.
