It is an undoubted position that the petitioner has been granted benefit of promotion with effect from 15.09.1993. Before us the statement is also made that the seniority of the petitioner shall be calculated with effect from that date i.e. 15.09.1993. However, this does not prevent the respondents from determining the inter-se seniority of the rival claimants. The petitioner was promoted to the post of Headmistress by an order dated 01.10.2019 and before us the order dated 02.11.2019 passed by the Deputy Director of Education, Nagpur is produced granting approval for promotion of the petitioner on the post of Headmistress.
