10th August, 2016 The Contempt Petition has been filed on the ground that there has been non-compliance with the judgment dated 21st August, 2014, of this Court in Writ Petition No. 4829 of 2003.

It is informed that the respondents in the said Writ Petition have challenged the said judgment before the Hon'ble Supreme Court and the operation of the impugned judgment directing payment of back wages has been stayed.

In view of aforesaid, the Contempt Petition, for the present, does not deserve to be entertained. The proceedings are dropped. Needless to add that after the judgment attains finality, if the petitioner is still dissatisfied as regards its non-compliance, he would be at liberty to take further steps.
