DATE : February 22, 2017 In the present contempt petition the grievance has been made that the judgment of the University and College Tribunal, Nagpur, dated 11.04.2016 directing reinstatement of the petitioner and payment of back wages has been not been complied.

Today, the parties have filed pursis, signed by the petitioner and the respondent no.1, in which it has been stated that the petitioner shall be reinstated on the post of Lecturer from 27.02.2017. The petitioner has, however, given up his claim for back-wages. The petitioner and respondent no.1 are present in the Court today. In view of said pursis, which is taken on record and contents of which would be binding on parties, proceedings are dropped.

The contempt petition is disposed of.
